Thank you for your interest in the Global Youth Water Envoys Program (GYWEP). The GYWEP is a capacity-building leadership engagement initiative established for the 2026 UN Water Conference. Co-hosted by the United Arab Emirates and the Republic of Senegal, and taking place in Abu Dhabi between 8–10 December, this is the first UN Conference dedicated to the implementation of Sustainable Development Goal 6 (SDG 6): ensure availability and sustainable management of water and sanitation for all. The Global Youth Water Envoys Program, launched by the Arab Youth Center (AYC) in strategic partnership with the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs, supported by the Children's Investment Fund Foundation (CIFF), in collaboration with Green Africa Youth Organisation (GAYO) and WaterAid, is designed to structurally integrate, empower, and train the next generation of international leaders to actively shape global water policy and drive progress towards SDG 6. The program will select and prepare 100 young leaders from across the world's regions. The selected envoys will build their expertise in water issues and SDG 6, specialize in one of six Interactive Dialogue tracks tied to the Conference, and then take an active role at the 2026 UN Water Conference, engaging directly with government delegations, experts, and international organizations on the frontlines of global water policy. Eligibility: • Aged 18–35 at the time of application. • Working proficiency in English. • Relevant interest or experience in water-related issues (governance, policy, climate, sustainability, innovation, or finance). • Willingness to commit approximately 3–4 hours per week during the active program period (September - December 2026). Please complete all sections of this form accurately and thoroughly, as your responses will form the basis of the selection process. Application Deadline: 13 August 2026, 12:00 AM Dubai Time.
